Kickstarter: Open Source Ecology

Every now and then I like to wander on down to kickstarter.com to check on cool ideas and concepts.  For those of you not familiar with Kickstarter, it’s a grassroots funding site where anyone can help fund projects/products they believe are worthy.  The cool thing about it is you get an inside view of some of the most creative and ingenious ideas people come up with.   As an incentive, there’s usually a few rewards the funded will give funders before their project/product launches.  Naturally, the more one gives, the sweeter the reward(s).

Here’s an idea I thought was worth sharing:

Global Village Construction Set by Marcin Jakubowski — Kickstarter.

Check it out.
